Coca Cola has been in Belize for fifty years, nineteen years before our nation's Independence.
For this piece, I decided to use the iconic Coca Cola red as the background for a caricatural version of the Coca Cola bottle on the right and the Black Orchid, Belize's national flower on the left. Some of the vines, and leaves of the orchid rest on the bright red Coca Cola background. To represent the fifty year anniversary, I chose a golden background to symbolize the golden achievement.
The bubbles, effervescence, I used to symbolize happiness.
